Nottinghamshire Police have received reports of vulnerable residents being targeted by various people attending addresses offering garden services.

Residents are being reminded to be vigilant of unexpected people offering garden services or other similar works that have not be prearranged.

Ideally residents should book reputable companies, individuals or local housing services in advance and refuse any unexpected services offered at the door.

Any contractors stating they are from Nottingham City Homes should have ID lanyards and these can be checked by contacting Nottingham City Homes to verify these individuals.
